Hi.

I am restoring a Beogram 4000 and everything works great but I have two issues.

1. The lamps of the speed potentiometers are very dimm I can only see them when the room is completely dark, is that normal is it how it is suppose to be?

2. The motor makes a mechanical noise, like a tac tac, is it possible to repair the motor or is it possible to get a used one in nice condition? anyone has one?

Thanks in advance for your support

Sincerely

Filip

1) check the bulbs under the control panel. Maybe they need to be bent a little towards the red plastic “screws”.
2) adjust the voltage for the motor until it stops with the knocking sound.
Hope that helps

Hi Filip.

Thank you for your reply.

I finally decided to replace the lights with an led plus resistor so the light is dimmed but are more visible than the original ones.

Regarding the motor I set it as stated by the manual, but I can try to adjust in different positions.

Thanks again for your reply

The motors can start to knock as the infused oil is depleted from the bearings.
I have my motors restored by Beolover
