Hi I am looking to purchase a record player to connect to my Beocentre 2300. I am looking for any suggestions as to which deck would be best for my unit, obviously sound quality us a must.  I have a pair of  Beosound 8000 mkii speakers connected to my 2300.

many thanks.

Any of the RIAA equipped decks will work well with your BC2300 - worth reading this FAQ to be sure: https://www.beoworld.org/faq_view.asp?id=18

I am now using a BG6500 (won here on Beoworld Smile) with my BC2300 - see photo below.  I purchased an SMMC4 from Soundsmith to use with it.  I can't really comment on the sound quality because I am only using a temporary setup (with an A2 Active providing amplification), but the remote functionality is great.

I am sure that other experienced turntable users on the forum with be able to suggest the best Beogram and cartridge combination.  There is further advice about cartridges here: https://www.sound-smith.com/lookup/bo-cartridges
