Dear all,

I have a pair BeoLab 4000 mkII speakers that have a problem. I downloaded the Service Manual but unfortunately no schematics, only a block diagram. Is there perhaps someone that can help me with the schematics of these BeoLab 4000 mkII speakers?

Thank you,

Richard

Hi

There is no service manual with shematics.

The same goes for BL4.

What is the problem?

I have schematics but of mki, I think the only difference is that mkii has class d amps whereas mki has ab class. If you want I can send them to you via email

MkI and MkII are far from identical. In fact they are quite different.

Besides a small humming sound in both, one speaker makes a cracking noise...but not always. Sometimes it plays for minutes without any disturbances.

May be bad solder joint or amplifier PCB.

That solved it! A bad solder joint on the main PCB. Thanks a lot!

Hallo Jef,
