I'm missing the small plastic front panel from a Beolab 5000 (where the display is).

Does anybody have any smart ideas on where I can find a spare?

Regards, Jonathan

Maybe I can help Jonathan but you have to wait. My just aquired Beolab 3000 flatpanels has funny enough green displays and according my information this is used on a Beolab 4500. The plastic cover (display window) dos not entirely shows all characters, it's a little bit to small.

I'm trying to let these covers made which I btw already did for a Beogram 6000Smile with excellent results.

Leslie,

Sounds as if you have 4500 amps attached to your Vox 3000's.   The plastic cover is held on with double-sided tape which, as always, disintegrates.  As a result your plastic covers might not be centered properly.  Here's what my display looks like:

No Bob, really, the label at the backside of the amp unit shows definetely Beolab 3000 and I had a new pair once of 4500 perspex covers from which the display window (in greenm) was a bit wider then the 3000/5000 amps. But still it has a green display. WeirdConfused Some tech guy must have replaced the display from orange to green....

See the results of my covers on this thread! It's still a green display on a Beolab 3000Whistle
