Strange problem.
I bought a Beogram CD 6500 recently (1900 SEK) and it worked for two days.
Now it will only read tracks and play on one of my CDs. On the rest I have tried (around 10) it just "thinks" shortly and then shows a read dot at the right of the front panel. The remote shows "no source".
It is so strange - as soon as the one working are back in the tray, it just finds tracks and plays them normally.
What can I do to get it work?
Thanks in advance
Tomas, Mariestad, Sweden.
Anyone with experience of this? Beogram CD 6500 perfectly reading one or two CD.s but cant find tracks on all other CD's?
I will try change the capacitors according to adwise at another place, but it sounds odd that the two same CD are always working perfectly, but not 20+ others I have tried with. What can it be if not the capacitors?

Before thinking about everything that can be wrong, start by changing C2103(search the forum/web) capacitor, and cleaning the lens with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swap.make sure to wipe after with a dry swap.
this will solve your problems 99% of the time.
