Hallo,

Danke vielmals

Usually, DIN shield (circular metal connector) is used for earth. How does the DIN->Chinch adapter look like? Can you describe it a bit more?

OK, attaching pictures isn't working. The DIN-onnector is pretty standard PVC core and cover. The shield is connected to a lash that makes contact to the circular metal connector. No connection to pin 2

Have a look into this topic: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/44703.aspx

There are pictures on how the wiring of the DIN plug for a Beogram should look like.
