No one denies that BMR has some advantages in some circumstances over the conventional driver. For example, high aspect ratios are possible which can be used to good advatange in flat panel TV's etc. They are a development of NXT's DMR speaker technology - IIRC B&O used to be cited on NXT's website (I can't remember whether it was as a sponsor, or partner etc.). The point being that B&O almost certainly evaluated DMR and chose not to persue it in any product release. I would also expect them to review and evaluate BMR technology. If it meets a specific requirement then we may see them in a new product in the future, if not we won't. I doubt however that they are the answer to life, the universe and everything and so I don't expect them to universally replace conventional drivers.
I am happy to let B&O decide what should be in their (and my) speakers, I may be wrong but I think they may know a little more about it than me and are therefore more likely to make a better, more informed judgement than I (or most here).
Ban boring signatures!

I agree. And even if some here knew more, what are the chances that those people have as much access to measuring equipment as the good folks in Struer have?
