The Eclipse doesn't supports the fully intergrated option. Anything you will do will be a compromise.

Before continuing 2,5 questions:

1. you only have a Beomaster 5 and not the Beosound 5?

2. what do you mean with "not see any CD setting". You have a BM5/BS5 with an addition CD player connected?

Hi

l have a Beosound 5 . What I actual mean is original when it was set up it had a Beovision 14 , and a Beomaster 5 in the same room speakers attached to tv .

And the Engener set the remote up and said link /Cd .

I can not find this on my new remote

And the Engener that fitted the eclipse had know idea about the nl/ml/convertor

I am afraid that Carolpa is right (bad service from your seller....or you did not ask specific).

No fully integration possible there - however, you can connect the sources (when set up correctly in the converter) to the Sound Center (of the Eclipse) and add these to the other Sound Center sources. This will have to be done in the Bang & Olufsen app.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

You can use the MyButtons for storing a source. The Netflix/Prime remotes only have 1 but you can also use a remote with 4 mybuttons. This will give you 4 sources you can store and use easily on the Eclipse.

First play the source (through NL/ML converter) and press join on the Eclipse remote. After the source is playing you can select different sound and stand settings and long press the MyButton. It will preset this source.

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

BLC setup: assumption, N.Music is set as N.Music in the BS5; N.Radio is set as N.Radio in the BS5

In Configuration-Settings of the BLC

ML enabled=true ML role= VMaster; Save

Networklink: choose friendly name; Save; "connect to" both same <friendly name>; Save

Sources Visible on ML: set all "NL product name" to Empty; Save

In Experience mapped to NL: click the checkboxes (=true) of  N.Radio and N.Music; Save

In IR mapping: N.Radio - NL productname=<friendly name>; Save

In IR mapping: N.Music - NL productname=<friendly name>; Save

option: reboot the BLC (unplug mains, wait a minute, replug mains), wait until the BLC is up and running.

Now do a test: start playing a track or album on the BS5 manually. Search for and choose the JOIN command on your BR1. The Eclipse should play the track/album.

BR1 will, with this settings, not control the BS5. But first let's have the BS5 up and running again.

Hi I have tried to upload images of the convertor but i have not had much look

I have had some look with the beomaster 5.

I turned  on the bombaster 5 had it playing then turned on the Eclipes and had a connection , the screen said CD with the circular link sign under it .

When I turn off the bombaster 5 with a long hold it does turn of all my B&O products so something is handing.

I am not sure how to access the CD ? n Music set up on the romete ?(how to move into the list on the some menu)

I could properly reset the Bombaster 5 as I do have access to the services screen ?

If it is posable I would like to use a CD sign on the remote BT1 to work the bombaster 5 ( if i can get it on theBT1 screen )

I did have this set up on the Beovision 14 with a BT1 remote so not sure why i can not repeat this agin

is it because Eclipse does not support CD on the BT1 ?

Assuming the above cannot be sorted (I had a BLC, but it was taken out by a lightening strike so I "replaced" it with an Essence since I wasn't really using the integration it provided for much more than what an Essence could do), I just use my BS5/BM5 as a DLNA music source for the Eclipse.  You can't synchronize the playback from the BS5 and Eclipse, but you can at least play the music saved on the BS5.  Even this is a little fiddly since the LG side of the TV also has a music app that will see the BM5.  However, only through the sound center music setting will you be able to play WMA music (assuming you have "transcoding" enabled in the BS5).  The LG music app only supports MP3 (and maybe Flac.)

This is correct! so the BS5 music played on the Eclipse. right?

stuart50_1:
I am not sure how to access the CD ?
This means your BS5 is set to start N.Music (the saved music files on the BS5 HDD) when you press the CD button (on a previous remote). Correct?

I did wrote before, the Eclipse does not supports a complete intergration. So you will have to compromise.

Set the BR1 to control the BS5:

press List, then up or down until Settings; choose settings with OK; choose Advanced with OK; then Products; Show; up or down to Beo4 Audio, select with OK (it is checked).

Back, back, back... until black screen!

Now the BR1 can operate as a Beo4. How does it work? All command are NOW going to the Eclipse and NOT to the BS5. First you have to switch the BR1 to send the commands to the BS5. This is done by pressing List, then Up, then Right, then choose Beo4 Audio. If you have chosen the Beo4 Audio, all the commands go to the BS5. So if you press Music and go UP or Down repeatily you will find the CD. Select this by OK and the BS5 should start .

To access the Eclipse again: List, UP, Right, choose Beovision (or Eclipse, or... note: I do not know how your BR1 is programmed). If the BS5 is still playing press List, up/down until you see JOIN, choose JOIN. The Eclipse should join the BS5

The BS5 is set as: AM = On, Option set to 2?

The BS5 is set to start music with the CD command? Normally it is set to react on N.Music (mayby try this also). Just to be sure: after selecting a source on the BR1, you confirm it with an OK?

that is what I expected

The compromise is you have to start the BS5 and Join the Eclipse

Both the BLC and the Eclipse are connected to the same network

I would sell the beomaster 5 and go over to a modern solution. It was cool when it was new but is ancient today and actually even a threat to keep on your network as it runs windows xp and no firewall.

If left open like that at least. Cool device but soo old now. And not maintained. Sadly but true.
