hello beoworlder, i am the owner of a beosound 3000 since today.
Unfortunately, the device has a little flaw. when the doors open, you can hear the motor
continue to run for about 3 seconds when the doors are already at the stop, which is definitely
not good for the belt. Can something be changed?
Another thing is that the doors sometimes open without contact and can then only be closed
"with good persuasion", the standby button then does not react.
does anyone have a tip or a solution

Oxidated contacts at the cam wheel?
Martin
hello Martin, thank you for your solution to the door problem?
I haven't looked it up yet, I probably won't do it "this year" either.
I'm postponing this to 2021!
by the way I wish you and all the other Beoworlders a happy and healthy new year.
May we take the crown off the CORONA!
Dillen: Oxidated contacts at the cam wheel? Martin
today I dismantled my Beosound 3000 so that I got to the door mechanism.
I also checked the end shutdown by the cam wheel and cleaned up the contact.
But the belt seems to have slackened in the same place for too long and has deformed accordingly,
I still have to replace it! Martin, you will get a PM or email!
Hello
I have the same problem with the door opening.
Could you take a photo of the switch that needs cleaning in more detail? And how exactly did you clean it?
Thanks a lot )

Sure I do.
I'm just waiting for the door belt, when it's there I'll take photos of where the switch can be found.
In the picture above you can see the Clamper Belt and the associated switch.

The switch for the doors is under the metal plate here is a photo (unfortunately a bit out of focus)
I usually clean the switching contacts with a rough cardboard that I sprayed with WD40 (WD40 dissolves the corrosion a little and the rough cardboard strip removes the dirt)
Here is a Youtube Video, it shows the changing of the door belt, the door end switch is also shown

By the way, if you have the same problems with the doors, it makes sense (probably even necessary) to replace the door belt
