Good evening,
If your talking app in the meaning of drivers etc, there is no need of it. The specific setting for speakers appears I the settings menu even without app.The original Beosetup App that you can't download anymore if its not in your download history, only allows firmware update which indoor case may be useless.
perfect - it works - thanks so much - Eckhard
The A3 still is excellent.
And it is very sad that a lot of my/the apps aren’t supported anymore on the old iPads.
Mine would be ideal as a small ‘tv’, if only the app of my tv provider was supported ;-(

There is a tv - and there is a BV
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
I do agree with Millemissen - The A3 still is excellent - and sounds very good - simalar to Beoplay A1 - but Stereo :-) (I only have one piece Beoplay A1 - but looking for a second one)

As a matter of fact, I was using my A3 in the kitchen exactly for that purpose every morning. And same as in your case, the tv app does not work anymore on the iPad2.
So now it is only the clock/weather app combo and I still like it! :)
