Er det muligt at tilslutte min Playsatation 3 til mit BV 6-22 med et DVI-HDMI kabel?
Jeg har forsøgt uden held. Nogen som ved hvad problemet kan være?
Could be the resolution (try setting the PS3 to a smaller resolution) or HDCP maybe (a stupid system to block copying of content via HDMI). I managed to connect a raspberry pi4 via HDMI->DVI easily to the BV6. So in principle it works.
I have changed the resolution to 720p. Can the HDCP be turned off?
You could try a HDCP stripper like it is explained in this blog

There is a tv - and there is a BV
I use this one with Apple TV and it strips the hdcp for my BV6-23 and 6-26. I have also used it with ps3 in the past: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NAJ4UM2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If i use it with my desktop PC, would I be able to use its build in DVD-player for DVD movies? Or would I have the same problem with HDCP?
You probably need to check this - I can never seem to find a logic. My MacMini (running Kodi) runs well on the DVI port. The ATV doesn't - throws an error that the receiving end doesn't support HDCP. A raspberry PI running Kodi again works very well including Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. So - you need to check it, I'm afraid.
Guy,
can you control the ATV via PUC, when you have DVI activated? My BV6-26 doesn't seem to be able to do that.

Sadly no - you need a much newer 6-26 to be able to do that!
If your siri remote is the older ATV4 type (which does not have a while circle) then you can use that to control the TV's volume though!
...and I assume an SW update to get there is impossible (or doesn't fit the residual value of a BV6)....
Actually having said that my BC6-26 (type 9282) does allow the DVI to be used as a controllable STB input. I don't use it in this manner because there is an annoying fault with the DVI input where it 'blinks' every few minutes - I think it's some sort of DVI timing handshake issue.
