Hi All,
Apologies if this is a bit of a dumb question, but I was hoping to get some advice around our current setup.
At the moment, we stream music mainly from Tidal through the below:
Tidal (from iphone or ipad) --> Apple TV --> Klipsch HD Control Centre --> Beolab 20s.
I was hoping to ask if we might get any improvement in sound if we went Tidal --> [something else] --> Beolab 20s?
Thanks a lot in advance!

With “something else”, it may sound different but whether it sounds BETTER is up to your ears only, my friend.
Do note, however, that BL20 can only accept a maximum of 24/96, so it cannot play full TIDAL Master MQA of 24/196. Because you’re unlikely to get any higher rez streaming by using “something else”, I think if you feel the sound is better will just be a question of subjective taste.
I couldn’t hear a difference with some A/B testing using TIDAL on my BL17, FWIW...
Currently: BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18, BeoSound Core, Beosound Level, Beosound A1 2nd Gen, BeoPlay S8 Connection Hub, Halo, Essence Remote
Previously: BeoSound 1 non-GVA
Here’s a relevant thread.

Thanks so much Curly, really appreciate it!
Skip the ATV in your setup and use a Mac or PC to run Audirvana on it.
Audirvana remote (also for Tidal/Qobuz on your iPad) - Mac/PC - Klipsch - BL20
Also possible:
A much under appreciated and unknown source type available in most B&o NL devices to consider : "Music Stream".
With Audirvana Tidal/Qobuz can be upnp/dlna streamed directly to B&o
Thanks Carlopa, apologies for the ignorance, but would this be different from getting a Bluesound Node 2i?

and easier to test, presuming you already have a MAC/PC and use the 30 days test period of Audirvana
