Good morning and welcome to Beoworld!

You should be able to select the DVI input by pressing PC on the remote. If your remote is a Beo4, the PC may be one of the options under the LIST function. If not, you can add it.

Unfortunately i can't find original remote that came with the tv.

Having to use a third party remote made to replce original remote.

Has full function as original remote but PC and dvi menus dont show.

So no way to select dvi/pc input

When i last used it , automatically picked up signal and showed menu and was able to select input using abovementioned remote

On the BL1000 remote you could select PC by pressing SHIFT then STORE. Does your third party remote have those buttons?

Ok ive tried everything

I'm waiting from the company who made this remote

It would seem operating the tv with it is sporadic at best.

I know it worked before but only brings up basic connection menu and pc is not listed.

And with no physical buttons on the tv makes getting dvi

To show is difficult.

The manufacturer of the remote reassured me that

This is a replacement for the BO04 remote that came with the tv.

So maybe the remote has develpoed a fault.

In that case you may be better to look for a second hand BL1000 or Beo4 remote.  These can usually be found for about £30 upwards, depending on condition.

The user manual says it only accepts the following resolutions so you may find if the PC isn't  set to one of those, it may not show.

60 Hz;

640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1366×768

Stoobie

My BC6-23 is back in its box at the moment so I can't check, but as far as I remember, the PC/DVI input does not 'show' in any menus.  It is simply selected directly using the elusive PC command.

(EDIT: See pages 5 and 37 of the Reference Book here: https://support.bang-olufsen.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041518692)

Also, I am slightly confused that the TV ever 'automatically picked up signal and showed menu' as stated in an earlier post.  I don't think that there is any 'auto-detect' switching to the DVI input, unless perhaps the TV was a modified version used in a hotel.
