Hi everyone,

More and more (B&O) devices are being charged via USB cable. My Beoremote Halo as example through a stationary charging pad.

Has anyone found a more clean / neat solution for a USB adapter plug other than the standard ones?

I would love to buy an adapter where the cable comes in underneath instead of on the front.

Suggestions? Something like the 2nd picture

Perhaps a better option is to have a socket with the adapter built in so you just plug in the USB cable as below

I’m on Keith’s side with this. I bought one of these to my father about 7 years ago.

He hasn’t installed it…

If you replace the socket with one with built in USB ports, make sure you purchase a reliable model that meets your local electrical safety standards - these devices have had significant bad press, even those produced by well-known, established manufacturers.  A search will find lots of articles, such as:  https://www.electricalsafetyfirst.org.uk/professional-resources/product-safety/usb-socket-outlets/

(Mind you, I am sure that many plug-in USB adaptors are just as bad!)

Little older Nokia phones were equipped with nice round white chargers, allmost like in your lower picture, only nicer. Might find them on aftermarket.

Nokia AC-16E Looks like it is still aviable

 blah-blah and photographs as needed

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the feedback!

MM i liked your suggestion, exactly what I need but not available in white.

At my local supermarket (ICA Maxi) i have now found a work around with 2 Belkin products.

Mbee, will look into your suggestion as well.

Enjoy your Sunday afternoon, evening!
