Apple Music just launched Dolby Atmos. You can listen to spatial audio with Dolby Atmos devices.

My question is:

Would spatial audio work with the Beoplay Portal?

From the description it says that it should work with Xbox and PC (I have a Mac Mini).

Spatial Audio should work with all BT headphones as long as it is set to “always on” in Settings-Music-Audio-Dolby Atmos

Yes, there is a difference between the spatial audio Apple provides for movies and music.

For music, it works with any headphones.

For movies, it requires the AirPods (and maybe certain Beats?) headphones.

Thanks @sandyb and @leosgonewild for your tips. I just bought the Beoplay Portal. I don't have Xbox, but I still think you can use this as a normal bluetooth headphone set. I will test and compare it with my Beoplay H95.
