BeoSound 1 flashing red and app not detecting it

My BeoSound 1 has been working fine but 24 hrs ago started flashing red and B&O app tells me: This product is not available on the current network. When I check my ISP the device does appear as connected via wifi. I see red flashing means battery below 2% and/or 'hardware error'. The device is plugged into power. What should I do?

That has happened to my BS1 as well.

Try to turn off power and then power on again.

My Beosound 1 is unresponsive, what can I do? – Bang & Olufsen Support (bang-olufsen.com)

If still problems, do a factory reset. 

How do I reset Beosound 1 and remove all paired Bluetooth devices? – Bang & Olufsen Support (bang-olufsen.com)
