Hey
on my 2 Beomasters 7000 there is an about 4 cm cable with a 5 pin socket that comes out of the beomaster. It is located over the plug for FM antenna. What is that for?

The preamp out - poweramp in insertion socket? Should be covered with a plastique plug to connect ins - outs.

no no the cable comes out about 4cm of the beomaster 7000 just near the antenna plugs. On the calbe is written "low voltage 30" and on the cable is a 5 pin-socket. Here 2 pics of it

Hmm, well I think that's for an extra Beomaster 7000 infrared receiver ...
That looks like an unauthorised modification to the receiver, possibly to control some external device. I did a similar mod to my 7000 receiver in order to automatically power on an external equilizer on the pre-amp out/ power-amp in socket whenever the receiver was switched on

Ron may be right, but better open up and check where it is connected, you never know
