Hi

My B&O technician has phone me to explain he has been told my B&O  to replace power to the screen, as there is an issue. I would have thought B&O would have contacted me directly  Anybody know what this is about?

Yes, LG has found an issue with the psu that they want to adress. Something may impede the longevity of the psu. It’s nothing serious and it’s not dangerous to the panel, at worst the panel will turn itself off. That’s about it, i personally think LG is doing the right thing with this as they are even doing it for panels and customers outside of the warranty period.

If it is an Eclipse 65 inch 1st gen, I think you will get a new power supply installed.

A friend of mine with a LG C7 65 inch had his power supply changed in his home. He was also contacted by a service technician in advance, informing him that it was done proactively due to a known problem (with 65 inch only).

As you may know, the Eclipse 1st gen has a LG C7 screen.

Best regards - Dyssegaard
