Dyssegaard:

It would be great though, if you could test if you can start Spotify by double tapping the top plate of the M5 or by a BR1BT before you update your M5.

If it works for you on the previous sw, then my problem probably is due to the latest update - otherwise it could also be Spotify that have made some changes. I think they are preparing for Spotify Hifi.

Yes this works for me on the M5 with the previous firmware version. I changed Spotify to be the first in the list and pressing the top plate from standby turned it on and started playing Spotify without Spotify being open on my iPhone. I’ve turned the auto update off for now. Please do raise a support request via the B&O app notifying them of the issue. I’ve also sent a request asking if this missing feature on the M3 could be added.

Thanks for your feedback - much appreciated. I will raise this issue with B&O support.

Hi Rob,

I have raised the issue with B&O support the day after receiving your feedback. I also informed them that the same problem was present on the sound center of my Eclipse.

Since then I have had 3 iterations with them, and provided them with a lot of additional info.

This morning, I have received a completely useless answer from their so called technical experts.

They just informed me, that activating the Spotify command on the Eclipse would start the Spotify app on the Eclipse screen and not on the sound center. Not a word on the M5 or the MyBottons issue.

I have told them, that the answer is useless, and that I will not waste anymore time on this support request Sad.

So maybe you should leave the auto update off. I will inform you if a future update will fix the problem Wink.

Best regards - Dyssegaard
