My Core updated to the software released a week or so ago and while B&O Radio has been added, my TuneIn favorites are no longer listed.
If I click the "radio button" ((o)) in the bottom right corner of the B&O app, I am taken to a screen with "B&O Radio" and "TuneIn" at the top. When I tap "TuneIn", I get a search bar and but none of my favorite stations appear. "No results found" appears two or three times underneath. That's it.
I have logged out and in of TuneIn through the B&O app. No change.
When I search for a station I favorited and the search result is shown, if I click "..." next to the radio station, it shows the heart icon dark and gives me the option to REMOVE FROM FAVORITES.
So clearly, my favorite stations are still in the TuneIn brain somewhere. But there is no favorites list within the B&O app anywhere. So I can't actually call up a TuneIn station without searching for it.
Might anyone (a) have any suggestions?; or (b) be experiencing the same thing?
Cheers.

@Curly
Which version of the Bang & Olufsen app are you using - a regular or the beta?
If you have more devices with the app (beta/regular versions), please try all of these.
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
MM, I am using the latest iOS version of the app: 3.20.0.41064
I am not on the beta. :)
Ahhh!!
3.20.1 was just released this afternoon! I have updated and it has fixed the issue--I now see all my favorites again.
WHEW! Great news. Thanks everyone for your help!
I'm going to go play with my new, rattling Halo now. ;)
1.12.47460, Raz.
Try updating the B&O app itself. A new version of the iOS app was released today (to me, anyway). It fixed it for me.
I'll check in a little bit--I see B&O Radio in my Core but I haven't actually tried to launch a station. I've only tried TuneIn.
I'll try B&O Radio and check back.
Also responded to your PM again.
Update:
On my Core, I can see B&O Radio station favorites from my Level. But if I try to play one, I receive an ACTION NOT SUPPORTED ON THIS DEVICE error.
So I can't actually play B&O radio stations on my Core (unless, maybe, I start it on the Level and join the Core to it via multiroom).
BeoFrederic:My Core/Shape is running 1.12.47460; however B&O Radio is not offered as a service in either Bang & Olufsen app or BeoTool. I’ve checked the App Store and I’m running current versions. I can see Spotify, Tune-In, but no B&O Radio. My hypothesis that there’s a licensing problem for users in the U.S. is shot down by the fact that both Curly and Razlaw are, I infer, located in the States. Hmmm…… Not the end of the world. More curious than needful at this point.
mbolo01:It’s an application issue that has been fixed in the latest beta
TuneIn = for Netlink devices
and theTuneIn issue has been fixed in the beta app as mbolo01 said before. If B&o Radio will come to NL devices = ???
My Shape has the same sw version since the 1st November (EU).
My updated beta app shows exactly the same for all my devices (NL audio and NL tv), when I tick the Radio button below.
However, I can’t choose the B&O Radio on my audio devices and I can’t choose the TuneIn on the BV’s…….and the showed B&O Radio stations are not those that I have in my Netradio function on the BV’s.
The beta is still a mess!!!
But - at least - now I can choose my favourites on the audio devices again.
Millemissen:The beta is still a mess!!!
Choose radio button on the app with the Balance actual, the B&o Radio tab is set.
Choose radio button on the app with the Beosound 35 actual, the TuneIn is set.
Choose a radio setting which is not compatible with the device, a notification is shown.
@Carolpa
Yes, sure I know it is a beta - but still they need to know that it is a mess.
The app should not show B&O Radio at all, if that is not supported by the choosen device and vice versa.

but did you already report it in Testflight? Otherwise why use a beta app.
I just did and asked to make one of the tabs invisible!
Well actually - I tried to a couple of days ago
I wanted to add a second picture there to illustrate my point of view.
However, that is not possible….and it resulted in my (rather long) posting going into Nirvana.
And at that time I hadn’t the time and muse to start all over again.
Glad you did it - and succeeeded
Q1/22….they promise
Wat are the advantages of B&O Radio over TuneIn?
good question!
Yes, TuneIn and the BBC have divorced for UK listeners, though BBC stations remain on my A9 / BS2 due to the limbo / standstill agreement for continued service for some older devices. That situation may not continue though, and a full rollout of B&O Radio for older devices may lead to TuneIn removing BBC for those devices.
Besides that, I'm not sure the reasons for the move.
There may be good reasons though that others can provide?
In the USA, I don't know what the advantages of TuneIn over B&O Radio are, or vice versa. I don't know why anyone would want access to one over the other at all.
TuneIn still has the advantage of being able to add a custom URL, something that B&O radio doesn't currently have, and as far as I can tell is not on the future features list.
For example, I have a subscription to Jazzradio.com. With TuneIn I can add a custom URL to allow access to their streams from my B&O equipment. With B&O Radio I can't. For example, https://www.jazzradio.com/mellowpianojazz isn't available through B&O Radio, but I can easily add it through TuneIn.
I think the advantage of B&O Radio is that they can deals to work with BBC and perhaps other stations which can't be accessed through TuneIn due to licensing issues. For example, in the USA the giant radio conglomerate Audacy (formerly Entercom) removed all their stations from TuneIn a few years ago, telling listeners to download the radio.com app for listening. When they did that, all their stations disappeared from TuneIn on my B&O gear. (I was able to add custom URLS through the TuneIn app to recover the stations through a little backdoor.) With B&O Radio they presumably make deals to allow access to all these services.

lawrencejmcook:With B&O Radio I can get BBC radio stations in the U.K… … and NRK Jazz!! 😃 These aren’t available with TuneIn.
