Hello all
Can anyone explain how to turn the large disk on a lab 5 180 degrees clockwise (or anti clockwise )
One of my disks has a little knock on it for years and actually turning it round so its at the back would make it no longer visible and save a few hundred quid.
Are any special tools needed or is there a process to follow to do this?
cheers

They are glued in place. Seriously glued I believe?
B&O use a silicone-type adhesive between the aluminium disc and the cast Under-disc.
there is a YT video somewhere showing it being assembled.
I would imagine removing the disc would involve destroying it first?

0:29min. Lower disc assembly and after that, the dosing of silicone adhesive on to the lower disc body.
it would be very fortunate if you did dissemble the ALT structures and that lower disc could be rotated, but then you would be a braver man than I.

It’s directional to lock down the lower lens assembly 9008 - so not an option unless you buy a new disc cover
