I know, this is a weird question. I am currently using two A1s in my office at work. I typically listen to classical music and at relatively low volumes except when nobody else is around. I have the two A1s as I enjoy the stereo separation when volumes are higher. However, I am tired of turning both A1s on each day, repairing them to each other, and then repairing my BR1 to my IPad as it must be repaired daily.

I like the Balance and was thinking of getting one. Definitely much more speaker than needed for a office, it operation would be simpler and I am intrigued by it’s beam control. Any thoughts/opinions on what if anything I might miss with one Balance compared to two separated A1s playing in stereo, other than the obvious sound improvement of a single Balance over a single A1?

(I know, this is like asking to compare 90s to 4000s LOL)

Thanks! That is what I was thinking. Now I am thinking maybe I should bring my unused Beosound 5 to work and a pair of my 4000s? Or maybe there is some way to connect A1s to a BS5. How would that be for a unique system LOL

I have also used the A1 (first gen) stereo paired in various places on the go. For the size and price they sound extremely well. If you place the A1 on a strategic spot near a wall or in a corner the performance is even greater. Line of sight was a must and max distance between the two A1’s rather limited.
P6 was even better in stereo, two extra drivers then compared a set of A1’s and a lot more body. You can upgrade to those as well !

what would be cool if B&O makes some kind of bluetooth hub/router so you can use let’s say 10 different A1’s /P6 ‘s wireless for a super funky mobile cinema experience. Big Smile

I am amazed at how good a pair of them do sound. For the size they are amazing.
