Can  Beocenter 8000, RL 6000 Speaker and BeoVision 7 40inch MK2 720p HD/LCD TV work together without Beolink ML/MCL Passive Amplifier?

Sure, just use a BeoLink-Converter (http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=983)  - ML from tv and A-AUX from the BC8000.

It is a classical setup.

To get the sound from the tv to the BC you have topress AV before 'source'.

But - really - I would buy a used ML/MCL Converter/2P for driving the passive speakers direct from the tv.

It is easier to control and gives you center and front channels when watching (listening to) tv.

N.B. You would need the BeoLink Converter anyway - to get the sound from the BC to the front speakers of the tv!

By the way, welcome to BeoWorld Smile

Greetings Millemissen

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes, but you still need a converter. In this case the (old) Beolink Converter. Further you need a 7-pins AUX cable (from your BC) to the Beolink Converter and a Masterlinkcable (from your BV) to the Beolink Converter and a powercord. Hurry up, because the Beolink Converter is/will be discontinued. Search for type 1611. More info here: http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=983

Edit: just saw that Millemissen already answered your question. As he suggests, better is still an amp to feed and use your passive speakers.
