I was generously gifted a Beovision 6 - 26  (type 9257) tv but the remote and other components were sold. Since I will only use as tv what are my best remote controller options.  Will it function with just the remote or do I need other components?   Thanks for advise Smile

Hi and welcome to BeoWorld,

what do you mean by "other components"?

Greetings MM

Hi ... I am not familiar with this brand.  I may have misspoken on "other components".   There was no operating manual so I have had to research online to find out about it.   I keep coming across beo this and beo that ... all I know is there is no "on" button.  Guess I need basic help.

You need a remote to be able to switch it "on" ... it is actually on, but in standby.

You need to buy from a dealer the Beo4 remote, or look on eBay for a Beo4 or a Beolink 1000 which will do most of the functions.

I am sorry about that ....

Thanks for the information.  I am sure I will love it when I am all set up.
