Before I had a major software upgrade the other week, I never heard the fan at all.

Since receiving the latest software upgrade, I can now hear a fan. And it's annoying. It sounds like that flicking noise you get when something gets caught in your bike wheel. Ok, it's much quieter than that, but that's the best comparison I can make.

So, yes, I also hear a low fan noise and, yes, I'd say it's frustrating.

I can hear a very low fan noise on my BV 10-40.

If I watch tv and the sound is on I forget about it.

Nothing disturbing like Moxxey said.

Never upgrade the software if everything works fine !

Yeah, but the BV10-46 has/had a known fault where the software couldn't be updated at all as it required a new mainboard - massive job and the dealer organised that himself after purchase.

Plus the result was that the sound quality improved dramatically, so can't complain!

Oh, Oh, good to see that the sound quality improved only by a software upgrade.

The mainboard and the panel (and the remote sensor) also been changed on my tv, what a job indeed.

It's strange that your fans make more noise after the update, have you checked if they are not running too fast whith the new software ?

Wat parameters do you have in service menu? In submenu fan adjustment?

Fan full speed temp

Fan stop speed temp

And wat are THE temperature 1 and 2

I have THE problem too. Een i change THE fan stop speed from 48 to 54 THE noise is gone
