Hello all,
I got my Beosound 5 Encore last week, and have now just about set it up. I have one (probably very stupid) question about the table stand:
Having attached it, how do I detach it? I've rotated the aluminum holster to release position (the very bottom cylinder at the base of the BeoSound) but I just cannot get the stand off, even though the bottom cylinder is not locking it anymore. I'm afraid to use too much force detaching the stand, so what's the trick? Feels as if though the base is permanently fixed to the BeoSound, but that cannot be the case because there might be a reason to access the cables.

Put a pen o the little hole in the ring, and then it will go further, allowing you to detach the Beosound from the stand

Thanks mbee,
I did, and rotated the bottom cylinder to the release position. But still the stand is very firmly fixed to the BeoSound....
Ok, so you just need to turn the Beosound a bit, clockwise, and then lift it gently
Thanks, the pen actually did it: I just had to use it *after* I had already rotated the bottom cylinder loose.
Got it now :)
