Hi

I am looking to replace a resistor in my B&O but seems hard to find.

it is a 10 ohms 10% 0.30w (stated in service manual)

Checked ebay but mainly 5% resistors to sell.

Someone on this with cheap shipping fees. 

Country of delivery = France

or do you guys use replacements.... like 10 ohms 5% 1/4w

The percentage spec is merely the tolerance.
A 10 Ohm 5% resistor is guaranteed to be closer to 10 Ohm than a 10% so would
be a fine replacement.
Is this in a Beocord 5000 power supply ? If it is, the resistor should be a fusible type and in this case PM me.

Thank you for your reply, it's for beolab 2500. I will order 5% resistor then.

Anything to change on these beolab 2500 while they are open ???

Why do you need to replace this resistor ?
If it burned, there will be a reason that will have to be investigated.

Hi Martin

I know, for now I just order resistors as I am very very poor in these.

Changing resistors does not happen very often, Just on a beocenter 2300 once I changed one, if I remember it was a problem with the sliding doors. 

I ordered a set on  E...y

Somthing like 90 kinds and 2250 resistors. Will see...
