Hi my phone's display has gone blank following me being in the garden yesterday and the phone off the base.When I call my landline from my mobile it rings but no display at all. Can any one help?

Are you saying it's only the display at fault? When you call the phone and it rings, can you answer the call? Can you make outgoing calls on it? Is there a dial tone?

Did you drop it or did it in any other way experience a strong force?

Based on your fault description, I would say that either screen itself has become faulty or more likely the small rubber strip connecting the screen to the PCB is not making connection any more.
