Does anyone have an XML file for standalone sky hd box in the UK? Thanks.

There are several combinations of Sky HD box meaning some remotes will not work with some boxes.

Assuming your Sky HD box is not an early model, then the attached XML file should work.

Extract the XML file to C:\ and it will be placed automatically into the correct directory of the Configuration Tool

Let us know if it works for you..

Hi Keith, unfortunately that XML file does not work with my box. I've had the box around 2 years, I thought they were all the same and the remotes were standard. Chris

Chris,

To date I have come across about six different combinations.

Attached is one for the Sky Amstrad version which may work.

Hi Keith, Thanks for the above file. This seems to work so far - power and guide and then the Beo5 died. Everytime I seem to sync with the computer it kills the battery. So on charge and will report back later.

Thanks :-)

Chris,

Both of the XML files I provided uses Philips RC6 20 bit protocol, however the DRX-895-C uses a device code of 0 and the other XML uses a device code of 5

Why Sky decided to use different device codes I do not know, but they did.

Hi Keith

I have read this with some interest. With the demise of ML and RF link to other rooms we have increasingly found the need to control Sky following a clients want to update their main room set to a new NL based TV. Without RF out from the TV this can obviously be delivered via the Sky box and then controlled with a Beo5/6 to maintain the integrity of a B&O remote controlled system. Are the XML codes for Sky HD available freely to the dealer network so we can further assist clients with legacy products, I did see there is a page on BeoWorld to assist dealers? If not please let me know how can can obtain them, I have a Lintronic box but little time to flash the codes myself.

Many thanks

Stuart
