is here a code I need to input, if so how
thanks
Derek,
more information needed. Which Beocenter?, where did you buy it?
Looks like you need to enter a PIN code which you should have been given by the seller.
Dave.
If it's a BC9500 then the answer may be in the sites FAQs as follows:
This usually happens if you have replaced the S/W or the lithium battery has been replaced or needs replacing.
Fix the battery or RAM and then:
Using a Beolink 1000 press:1271
After 3 seconds, disconnect the 9500 from the mains and then reconnect. - Done!
Thanks Guy, could you let me know where the Lithium battery is accessed please
Derek
If you open it up it's bottom right of the main PCB when view from the front. I think it is under some sort of cover and that you have to resolder it. I have never done this myself but am sure others can advise.
I'll post a photo tomorrow from work. Only have nexus at the moment and struggling to add picture!
As promised - the battery is in the red circle!
