When you buy the BS5, the wall bracket with angle is issued with it as one of the options for about 795 Dkr. (about 100+€). The item is listed as number 2193 on the price list with the BS5.

Does the wall bracket with part number 2193 fit both systems, Beosound 5 and Beosound Encore?

How can I mount the Beosound 5 flat to the wall? With the original ring that was delivered inside the Beosound 5 packaging?

I think so. I have a Beosound 5 that was on the table stand. A year or two ago I switched it to the wall. If my memory is correct, the ring that went between the table stand and the Besound 5 was used to mount it to the wall.

I don't know however if it is the same for the Encore.

Hi,

I finally decided to mount a standard Beosound 5 to the wall. Currently it sits on its table stand. I have bought a wall bracket (the angled thing) consisting of two parts but no screws. :-(

- Which screws do I need for it? 6 pieces.
- Is there a PDF / user manual for the bracket?

I've bought a BS5+BM5 but it didn't arrive yet. It should be with a wall mount, I will give it a look as soon as it arrives.

I'm waiting for it for 2 weeks nowsSad

Try to calm down, I know how you feel...

Is the tracking number correct? And don't trust the DHL status system! :-)
I got parcels where the status still told me, that the parcel was posted by the sender at its local store even when I signed when the parcel arrived at home.

DHL at it's best! Sad

They have bad customer service and I've experienced these stories a few times. DHL claimed I was unknown at the adress and after the second delivery I got the corresponding parcel... very strange.

Maybe you can be a little relieved, that you are not the only person that "enjoyed" the great service and capabilities of DHL.

Seems your Beosound 5 enjoys traveling... so give it a second chance. Smile

So mine just arrived, the wallmount has 3 screws M4 x 30

Glad to hear that it finally arrived. Did it arrive well?

Thank you for the information. Do you have the angled bracket or how did you mount it?

I have this one (angled): http://sound-affair.com/beosound-5-encore-angled-wall-bracket

Yes it arrived very well packed, I didn't have the time yet to unpack.

I only unpacked the wallmount.

Yes I do have the angled one, but the ring is different then the one in your link.

I do not know how I will have to fix it on the wall.

The BS5 came with a ripping device, so I will have to check if the 30 mm screw lenght is due to fixing of the RD.

EDIT:

The angle piece has to be fixed to the wall with 2 screws .

Once it is fastend to the wall you fix the ring to the angle piece with 3 screws diameter M4 with T20 torx head and mine are 30mm long, but this is because the ripping device has also to be fixed with these screws. If you do not have a ripping device the screws can't exceed 15mm.

EDIT 2:

The ring on your photo-link is not the ring I have. My ring is a perfectly round shape, not the O-shape as on your photo.

My wall-mount is missing the thin O-ring which seems to be mounted between wall and angle-piece.

The round ring I have seems to be the mounting ring to hang the BS5 flat on the wall. This ring is fixed to the angle piece an the BS5 is "cliped" to the ring. Once the BS5 is mounted , my ring isn't visible anymore.

can you tell me how to open the BM5 ?

I thought when taking of the 8 screws from the bottom plate I could slide it open, but I can't.

I want to clone the HDD before first operation.

Thank you for your answers. I've still not found a manual from B&O explaining the angled wall bracket... :-(

Here's a thread about upgrading the Beomaster to SSD you are looking for:
