Hi,

we have had a powercut yesterday and when the power came back our beosound 4 went to standby instead of asking for the passcode. Now the device cannot be switched on again - neither on the device itself nor with a remote control. We tried unplugging it again for a couple of minutes but that didn't help either?

Any advice is highly appreciated!

Thanks!

A Very Warm Welcome to Beoworld.

You say the unit is in standby, but is the Standby light flashing or on all the time ?

Regards Keith....

The glass slides up but the display does not come on, nor does the cd, radio or mem work.

Just a wild idea - leave it off the mains for an hour and plug it in some where else ...

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, it does not work either.

Does it respond to an A option instruction. Does the standby led flash once.

Hi Buddy, the standby light does not flash at all. It comes on as soon as i plug in the device and it stays on. What is an a option? It doesnt show the clock nor does it respond to a mem.
