Today my tv has gone wrong ,when switched on only the top left part of the programme is show over the whole screen .
I have turned it of at the mains for a couple of hours but still the same. Any ideas please
cheers Colin
By the way it's a beovision 5
Hi Martin
yes same on all source's .
tried turning of for few hours still the same .
Hi Kai
tried that so joy
No joy that was meant to say
The problem you described means a faulty screen. One of the SS/SC boards me be broken.
You could try to activate the Panasonic OSD. When even that doesn't work, you most certain have a faulty panel.
If you're able to provide some (monitor-plasmaversion) information.
Thanks to all that tried to help but Been told that it's not worth getting repaired. So if any one has a spare beovision 5 they want to sell cheap just let me know
I have a spare but quite heavy to ship...
Brengen & Ophalen
Thanks Leslie
bit to far to collect thanks anyway
@ Leslie, what kind of "spare"do you have?
A BV5, panel or boards?
a 2nd Beovision 5 still in the hallway waiting for an empty room and planned to be used with my Beolab 14 5.1 set.
Lucky you
i have a spare panel for the BV5 available if TS is interested. Repair of the original panel is also possible.
Oh this sucks.... I guess the BV5, how good they are, are just not feasible to fix.
Too long to list....
Get me new one tomorrow hd one can't wait
