Update

Finding that the TV remote control function does not work consistently using the Lumigon with the BV11. Volume usually OK but channel changing only works a couple of times and then the phone needs to be turned off and on to get the remote functionality to come back. Have tried using the pre-set B&O remote functions and also individual programming from the Beo4 but get the same results.

The accelerometer in the phone produces strange results. If you point the phone at the TV and sweep your hand up and down or side to side holding the centre TV button then the channels change almost on a random basis instead of in a useable sequence, and the channel changing can carry on after you've put the remote down.

Anyone else with similar issues (Chris?)

I had to return mine as the battery kept discharging very quickly, even when switched off. It was a bit like B&O, in as much as you have to put up with sometimes not having the latest wizz bang gadgets, in return for owning something handmade that possesses some charm.

What I'm saying is that the T2 was built on relatively old technology, and was very much a Mk1 attempt at their first commercially released phone. The new one will be completely up to date, and is due to be released very shortly. I'm sporting a Nexus 5(which does have a flashy notification light) until it's released, and I have to say that considering its price, I'm very impressed.

As soon as I get a sniff at what will probably be called the T3, I'll let you know.

24-30 hours typically on battery after careful analysis of what was using the power and turning constant App updating off. Not as good as the Blackberry mine replaced, but the Blackberry was hopeless at downloading and displaying web pages. I use an Anker battery pack for emergency recharging.... Anker packs were £100+ but are now down in the £20’s on Amazon. Useful for any phone with mini USB connector and 2A 5V charging.

Wikipedia page mentions T1, T2 and S1, but gives no details of the S1 which I guess might be the next model.

I guess that every phone is up to date when it comes out....... until unresolved bugs persist........

Mine lost 15-20% an hour. If I drove in the car and used the car charger, it would loose charge even whilst being charged. An old phone and battery I guess.

I have got one from Expansys,

It worked for about 3 hours, then become very hot, discharged and never charged back again. I had to sent it back for repair/replacement. Let's see.

The design is impressive, when the phone is switched off, but when it's on it's slightly disappointing: the interface looks outdated, I could not find music player (sic!) - though it probably takes more than 3 hrs :), the screen is worse than AmoLED (so, should be more power consuming), and it is full of Google stuff. It does have Chrome as a default browser. I would prefer to stay away from Google. Could not managed to find the switch between RU/EN keyboards...

The cradle could be the good add-on, but it does not go by default. I have to say that the set of ringtones worth mentioning. I would use all of them :)

Generally, if the repair will be successful, I will keep it as a BNO-style phone. Otherwise I would choose another model from Samsung, Xiaomi or even iPhone.

I still have Serenata somewhere, but stopped to use it after I've realized that it is impossible to enter the tone dial when you call somewhere ("..if you want to connect to our sales department, press 1"). I do like stylish things, but that should not cost you functionality.

Be careful with getting a refund from Expansys. Took me a month. New Lumigon March 24th.

will the T3 move on from Android 4.0 as we are now on 4.4 ?

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

No idea. I have a Nexus 5 running 4.4 and it's much better.

Short update.

We have sent the phone to Expansys It came back with a notice that addressee is away. I would say that is strange, but some companies may prefer this way of doing business (just read about bosscom in a parallel thread). Will give the second chance. I would recommend you not to buy Lumigon, until they set up the customer service properly.

Do Expansys use a local agent who might be away or did you buy from one of their main sites?

Lumigon have good online customer service and in my experience respond to questions promptly. I would explain your problem direct to Lumigon and ask them why Expansys have done this. Could it be an error made by the postal service?

Will this new phone be available in the US? I am ready to try something completely different.

It is difficult but possible: Press the centre button and wait for the dial screen. For me it works...
