Hello!
Let me first introduce myself. I am a male from Massachusetts who has been given a Bang and Olufsen 6500 Series system with two Beolab Penta II Type 6623 speakers. However, the owner did not give me the 4 Pin speakerlink cables because they were routed all through the house and would be needed some deconstruction to remove.
I was reading a setup guide for the 6500 series system and it said that Powerlink cables should be used to setup active speakers like the Penta's. Does this hold true for the Penta II Type 6623's as well? The previous owner used the 4-pin speakerlinks, so I want to make sure that if I use the Powerlink cables made for Beolab Penta MkII's, I won't lose display power or anything like that.
I appreciate any help!
Regards,
Melvin Glover
You can use either. I used 4 pin DIN plugs for years and considered it had more of a punch but powerlink is also fine. All the display functions are still there regardless.

Nevermind! Just found out that "fully-wired" refers to the MkII and MkIII powerlink cables. Thank you guys!

Only MKII. MkIII are not fully wired.
