The sound from my Panasonic DT50 TV is of course terrible and I was thinking of connecting Beoabs by way of a digital analog convertor to the Digital Audio Out on the TV and using Cinch Cables.
Can anyone tell me if this will work ok?
Thanks in advance
Nick
Hi nick - welcome to BeoWorld,
you can (using an adapter and a trigger signal), but you will probably experience a (slight) delay in the sound.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
I know about the adapter, just never heard of one with a trigger signal - do you by chance know the manufacturer?

Some BeoLabs do work without the trigger - they trigger on the sound signal.

I guess the digital audio from your Pana is NOT volume controlled. Using only the convertor will result in extreme loud volumes...
That's another problem - didn't think of that in the first place.
