Hi Beo-folks,

Many thanks for all the help I've received so far. I've got my Beomaster 7000 head unit hooked up to some Penta Labs via a set of cables made by Heavenly Audio and it sounds... heavenly!

I ordered a Beolink 1000 remote and I can now adjust the volume, change tracks and enjoy the BeoGram CD I have paired with it. However, I've got two new questions:

  1. Whenever I turn on the unit, the volume level defaults to 50, which is annoyingly loud. Is there any way to set the default volume so that when I turn on the system it starts at a more reasonable level? My spouse thanks you in advance :)
  2. I have a 1/8" to B&O cable plugged in to the TV/AUX1 jack for use with an iPod. However, I can't figure out what buttons to push to activate this on the Beolink. The TV button doesn't seem to work. I have the Beolink 1000 that says "TV | Light | Radio" on the top row, then "SAT | LINK | CD" below that.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

1) To save a preset volume level, set the volume to the desired level, press SOUND and than STORE twice

2) To activate AUX you have to press SHIFT + RADIO on your Beolink 1000

2) To activate AUX you have to press SHIFT + RADIO on your Beolink 1000

Or, as always, if you don't have a Beovision TV, configure the Beomaster to option 2. Then you can simply press TV and life becomes so much easier.

(Starting with the Beomaster on standby, press SOUND - 2 - STORE and see that you have some response on the Beomaster's digit display)
