I'm going to purchase a pair of headphones here this week and was wondering what peoples thoughts were comparing the H6 to the H8. I'm going to be using the headphones primarily for Spotify on my phone, as well as listening to my Vinyl collection on my beomaster stereo.

Thanks

How will you connect your wireless Bluetooth H8 headphones to your Beomaster?  Depending on your Beomaster (you don't say what you have), you would need a Bluetooth transmitter which is added expense.

If you aren't constrained by a cable then the H6's are great - I use them for the TV, iPad, stereo etc and love them.  Some users do report some drop-out issues with H8's even just using their phone with them (up to 12 times in 1 song has been reported).  The H8's are also very expensive when compared to H6's currently available 499 € v 200 € if you shop around

Best thing to do is test both at your nearest dealer (if you are lucky enough to have one) and compare the two for what you want.

Dave.

The H8 can be used with a cable as well. The H6 lacks a little bass, so it depends what music you listen to the most. H6 and H8 sounds the same, if you don't think about the bass depth. H6 is over-ear and can be on your ears for a day, and you want notice them. H8 us on-ear, the will put a but pressure on your ears. My advice: If you listen mostly from your phone, get the H8. If you listen mostly from vinyl, get the H6 unless you are listening to music with much bass. best thing is to try them at a dealer..

Can one simply use the H8 as noise cancelling headphones via the 3.5 cable with the bluetooth switched off (for aircraft use and to save the battery)?
I can't seem to see that info on the web page.

Looks like an awesome product, but the bluetooth function doesn't interest me, just the noise cancellation...

I think you can. I will test it when I get home tonight or in the morning.
