"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Hi,
does it react to the remote commands like starting the CD, play radio or go into standby?
Have you tried the headphone connector?
Maybe disconnect all your B&O devices from power, wait a few minutes and reconnect them one by one with a short delay so that the TV finds itself as videomaster and afterwards the BS3000 finds itself connected to masterlink as the audiomaster.
If this doesn't help try the BS300 as standalone system with speakers connected to it and Option programming to A-OPT 1 so that it can react to the remote.
I hope this helps a bit to isolate the failure.

Ok, so try the power cycle. Maybe there's just a small hickup in the BS3000. The audio will be sent to the masterlink via electronic switches which are controlled by the BS3000 CPU.
I still have no luck with this. I ran all test modes, and I don´t get any errors. Any ideas?
Did you just do this link-up?
Try powering both the TV and the BS3000 off at the mains for a couple of minutes, then power them both up again.
Also, try disconnecting the ML cable, set the BS3000 to A-OPT2 and plug the headphones in (or ideally some PL enabled speakers) and see what happens.

if you tried all test modes have you also tried the resetting of all values (TM31) and then checking as standalone with a headphone ? If not do TM27 to see if there are any errors stored. Also execute TM28 to check the RAM, ROM and EPROM of the processor.
Have you tried to connect a mp3player via AUX in connection, selecting AUX ?
TM31 does nothing. I did the other TM´s, still no sucess.. No sound from aux either..
Silly idea but maybe the Mute Key is stuck on the keyboard.
What happens to the volume display on the BS3000 when you 'use' it standalone and increase or decrease the volume via the keyboard / by remote. Does it change or does it show just '--' ?
If you connect your Pentas to the BS3000 do they show something in the display?
There is no issue with the mute-button. I have tried both in masterlink-mode and in powerlink-mode. None of them gives sound. The connected speakers turn on when the unit is turned on.
This one is really making me scratch my head, since there are no error codes either. And yes, I have become the master off power-cycling :P
I am really concidering to bite the pillow on this one, and simply have it serviced at B&O.

I am really concidering to bite the pillow on this one...
Funny terminology.
Well, I know I will have this feeling after..
