Hello Friends,

I'm in the process to upgraded to Full HD  the panel (an Old  HD ready 1366x720p 42" Panasonic Plasma) hooked to  a Bosystem3 MARK 1 (DVI Display out) .

Reading Beosystem3 threads here and in the archived forums and also asking around some dealers , I'm still confused if the Beosystem3 is able to output Full HD (1980x1024p) signal. It's running 4.17a SW version (I know it's old) , but I have understood that starting from version SW version 3 the full HD was supported.

Any clues ?

Also if somebody has the BS3 system manual (SW version 3 or superior, you can read the software version on the front page of the manual) could you share what are you reading at the video output section around page 6.5 ?

Thanks a lot.

I'm nowhere near the screen right now but if you go into the engineering section of the menu (iirc menu, red, go) go to the monitor section then choose non-B&O display and set the parameters to 1080i.

not sure that this is exactly correct, but should be close - was some years ago I did it!

regards
