Hi folks, i want to change or switch the STB Chip between to Beosystem 2s.
The BS2 MkI has the newer one
The BS2 MKIII has the older one.
Is it possibile to change them?
How can I do this?
Is there a "how to do" here in the forum?

lano:Hi, The chips needs to be "peeled" out, either with a special tool or very carefully with a thin screw driver or similar.

I would definately recommend purchasing a PLCC extraction tool - search on ebay, they cost next to nothing and dramatically reduce the risk of breaking the socket.
