Hello, please I need help. I connected to my Beovision 7-40 MKIII on the HDMI input a USB reader, after setting up the HDMI input, I can only see the USB source, but I don't hear.
I specify that the TV is without speakers, it has connected to BeoSystem 7000 using a BeoLink converter, the speakers are obviously connected to BeoSystem.
I did a test by connecting the speakers directly to the TV and everything works properly.
Am I doing wrong something, or is it not possible to do this?
Thanks to all
Orfeo
if you have NO speakers (even no center..?) connected to your BV7, I`m not surprised, that you get no sound
You will need your BS7000 everytime you are usung the BV.
So set the BV7 to V.OPT 0 and your BS to A.OPT 2. Should work now....
All IR control will be received by the BM7000 and transmitted via the BL converter to your BV.
Selecting a video source will activate the BV with the selected source and activate the BM in AUX mode. It will also activate Beolabs if connected to the BM7000. Volume level control will be executed from the BM.
Hope this helps
Stefan
Hello Stefan, probably I have not explained well, the problem isn't configure the BV 7, everything works properly, but I can not hear audio when using the HDMI input.
I hear usually the BV sound trough the BS, using the Masterlink connection, and I think that Masterlink does not handle digital sources (eg HDMI).
As I explained to test I connected speakers directly to BV (without using the Masterlink connecton) and HDMI input works properly (HDMI input configured in the same way).
Can anybody confirm this?
You can not distribute a HDMI source on the link.
You will need an analog sound connection for that
Which 'USB-reader' are you using?
MM
There is a tv - and there is a BV
Yes, a bit of a detour: you can get sound of hdmi input thowards the links but the BV7 has to be on and on that source (using picture mute afterwards if you want a black screen)
Nothing special, it is a CYCLONE 2+MICRO, I'm using it for testing, let me turn to a raspberry.
