I am planning to use the multi-room feature playing from the BeoMusic app to several rooms. A few questions:

1) Does the Beomusic app support itunes playlists?

2) Can I play from the beomusic app directly to the soundhub?

3) If playing from the beomusic app to a Beolink converter (connected to a BV5), does the line-in sensing allow to play audio without the television being turned on)?

Thanks in advance!

YES, with Twonky as intermediate (some issues though; see this site)

YES

There is no auto sensing on the line-in of a NL/ML converter (BLC) (as far as I know and experienced). But you can start the line-in of the BLC without starting the BV5 (depends on setup)

Thanks for your message.

re 1 - also works without twonky? I prefer not to have a dlna server in between. Can the Beomusic app directly access the itunes library with playlists?

re 3 - not sure I understand. When I play to the ML/NL converter (BV5 is turned off), will it output to my Beolabs that are connected to the BV?

There must be Twonky in between to work

If the speakers are connected to the BV5, the BV5 will switch on. But it will do the same as if a ML audio master is connected to the BV5; presumably it will blacken the screen
