Hi,

I have a Beocenter 2  connected to a Beovision 65 via Masterlink.  CD and Radio works but If I press DVD nothing happens. Beocenter 2 does not work on DVD mode at all.

Also, is there a way to adjust the contrast of the display?

Any help is welcome!

Thanks in advance.

The beocenter 2 is a dual function item. It is both an audio master and a video device. The audio master plays radio and CDs through its own power link speaker connections or through the master link to a television or another audio slave in another room.

The DVD function however plays locally through the SCART/s-video/composite video and RCA stereo/digital audio ports. These connection must be made directly to the TV in order to watch or listen to DVD.

I believe it was set up this way so that someone could watch a DVD in the main room, while someone else could listen to radio (or net radio/net music depending on one's set up) in another.

Yes, recheck all he connections including the scart at the back of the TV and inside the Beocenter socket box.

From recollection the tight connection space in the socket unit makes the scart and other connections quite vulnerable to being twisted sideways or displaced if a cable is accidentally pulled.
