I just got a used Playmaker mk1 for the amazing price of 50€ Smile

I am having problems changing the name from Playmaker 22xxxxxx to Playmaker. It seems it won't apply the changes unless I set it up in wireless mode.

Is it not possible to apply changes in the network menu unless ssid is also changed?

I can't take you through the exact process as I'm currently remote from my own.

Essentially, using a direct LAN connection to your PC (may be able to get it to connect over WiFi), enter the 192:xxxx setup portal. Change name in setup. Apologies if this os stating the failed obvious as I don't know what your level of experience is with this device. Downloading the B&O manual from their support pages will also assist

I'll try with my Mac then.

But strange that it doesn't work through the beosetup iOS app.

If I ever have issues with the BeoSetup app I tend to use a web browser page instead. Even if the product is wired or wirelessly connected keying in the IP address always seems more stable. To easily identify using an app I use Fing for iOS.
