Duels, I think we would be very good friends if we lived in the same country

Please let me know if you happen to travel to northern Italy. I would be happy to let you taste the Italian beers 🍻

Yes Paolo I think we would. Of course, that would be wonderful.

I often think how good it would be for Beoworlders to be able to meet in real life but we are all spread so far around the world.

It has happened in the past but the size of the bill to pay for the aftermath plus workdays lost due to injury and/or arrest put a lot of members off any repeat nights!

Ban boring signatures!

That sounds like my type of night.

Yeah - some wanted a Prog-Rock theme, others a Paul Smith does Surfing event with a local commercial radio soundtrack. It ended up as a Surfpunk themed knife fight between a Mountainbike gang from Lancashire and a Jogging Gang from Eastbourne in LimeGreen Lycra "colours".

The Police locked up a large contingent, either for buying overpriced designer cocktails or else belonging to a outlawed Tanktop/Slipover cult.

One escaped wearing a bright orange blazer, later to become a Belgian game show host who, alas was still destined to be unlucky in love.

There are of course other, darker, tales from the evening but pacts were signed and blood allegiances sworn, it would take a healthy cash offer to divulge more!

Ban boring signatures!

It appears that we will have to make sure puncher is in attendance at the gathering, this sounds like the sort of thing experience can smooth out. I'll start saving cash and legal blackmail favors. As well as aging more high abv stouts.

52F or 11C today. Unbelievable to be sitting outside in short sleeves on the sunny balcony this time of February here in Minnesota rather than using the skinny skis and many layers of insulation. Celebrating with one of my favorite IPAs in a can.

I'm going to have to start learning Belgian beers to keep up with you guys.

Not had this before. Lovely combination of Belgian flavours and citrus IPA. And if you can see the fridge behind, this might be one hell of a night.

Looking at the fridge behind your beer, you're going to have a true Belgian night! Try the Delirium Tremens (white bottle with pink elephant). You'll enjoy it!

It was, really! Smile

You know, I am really lucky as the owner of the pub, which is in some way an extension of my living room, manages to always get the beers I like, doesn't matter how hard it is to get them on the Italian market. He is a skilled guy! Wink
