So now it's time for beer.

The multi-award winning Jaipur from Thornbridge, my local craft brewery. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. And I've had a few!

Of course!

Difficult to tell from the picture but the bottle is 500ml. A good size for a bottle of beer I think.

Morning Paolo. Morning everyone.

Don't you have the Apple PUC ?

I never used my silver Apple remotes.

The black Apple remote touchpad is a different beast.

In fact use it over the Beo4 to control the BV8's volume (in all modes!)

From a new brewery that is less than 5 miles away and an old album. It's a good day here in Saint Paul.

It's nearly seven o'clock and that's definitely time for an ale. Sequoia from my local brewer. A very fine Amber brew. Very sessionable at 4.5% and incredibly tasty with some nice malt flavours.

Perfect time of day and time of year for an American Amber!

This one's a bit of an acquired taste. Belgian "Duchesse De Bourgogne". Looks flat but is quite bubbly, has rather a sour note. Took me by surprise but after a few sips...I've acquired it! Well, at least perhaps once a year anyway.

I really love the atmosphere of this picture... Smile

And I am also curious about the beer, it reminds me of two milestones in the brewing history: rochefort 10 and the great Westvleteren. Is that similar?

For me, I didn't get the sweetness for this one. I thought more like vinegar, but not unpleasant. I had snaffled a couple of Lindt Batons Kirsch which probably didn't help.

A Lonely Blonde and my now working but currently top less friend.

An American Blonde Ale in style beer goes well with the new Tribe Called Quest album.

Last night I had a temptress.

I must be getting old.

Because although she tempted me I resisted.

I only have one otherwise she would have drunk me under the table and had me several sheets to the wind.

Instead I acted responsibly and drove home after only one bottle Surprise

It's Friday night. Just got in from work so time for an ale. This is a relatively new IPA from my local craft brewery Thornbridge. Cunningly named "AM/PM" to give you a hint as when it's best to drink it.

The father in-law gave me local beer for Christmas, love the guy.

Today a milk stout to go with a little Fleetwood Mac on this icy Monday.
