Hello all I'm desperate for some help. I have been given a beocom 6000 by my dad. It's very old do must be a mark 1. I can't seem to delete entries from the phone book or access the menu. I have found manuals on line but whilst they look my phone the instructions don't work! Please has anyone got any advice?
The keyboard is working? Maybe the dot or other keys are dead. If so, you need to change the front housing.

You say all keys are working and the only function which does not work is deleting the old numbers in the phonebook.
However, can you successfully EDIT existing entries in the phonebook ?
Regards Keith....
I have worked it out I was doing it wrong! Thanks for all the help.
Hi
Can you please describe how you worked out the problem? I am having the exact same difficulties with an old (ca. 15 years) BeoCom 6000 and can't seem to be able to delete the entries in the phonebook.
I press "PHONEBOOK", then ok, then ok again (to delete the first entry), now i try to scroll and expect to see the "delete" option but I can only scroll through the already stored number. If I do any changes (like pressing c and thus deleting the numerical entries, the phone prompts me to "Store Entry"
This is driving me crazy!!
When You get to the 'delete' option (in the Menu), you press 'ok' twice - then you'll be able to scroll through the stored numbers. When you get to one you want to delete, press 'go' again - display shows 'delete?' - press 'go' again.
