Could someone suggest me the best pratice network solution setup for B&O Multiroom.
I'm always facing problem during installation. Most of the time there is dropout even if I use there recommended router which is Linksys EA6900.
Hope someone could give suggestions.
The way I have done mine is:
ISP router switched to modem mode connected to a linksys wifi router. Each subnet is connected to one of the router's LAN port (imagine a tree style connection). Each product connected (using wired connections wherever possible) to the switch. It works like a charm.
Infrastructure is: 2x cat6 utp from each room to the server room. All appliances (modem, router, server, etc) are in the server room. Switches (subnets) are used to each room when needed (i.e. more than two network appliances present).
Tough question to answer - without knowing your location, rooms, environment in general.
Is your home surrounded by several other wifi networks etc.......
How are the settings of the router........
Do you use wifi exclusively for the connections.......
Which kind of 'problems' do you have.....
Maybe this document can be of inspiration?
Maybe go straight to page 65.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Other than configuration settings - which I cant help you with....I have a ground floor WiFi Router, main B&O A/V/Web setup, Ditto 1st floor and office/bedrooms/NAS on the 2nd floor. All connected via LAN over Power converter. Each converter socket enables hard connection or wifi/wifi boost in its own right.
All works faultlessly
Basically, my setup for network is one main router plus one switch then accesspoints on each where it is needed.
Cat6 cables are the ones available in the villas we are installing B&O
And recommended brand of routers and accesspoints?Like Ruckus,Aruba,Ubiquiti,Cisco etc
Normally I use only Linksys EA6900 for main router
Then Gigabit swtich like Tplink or Dlink
then for accesspoints WAP300N
I will use all Pakedge equipment 👍🏻
Router, Switches, Wireless controller and WAPs.
This will be installed in 3/4 months.
