Penta3 Powerlink cable

Hello All

I have my Penta3 connected to my Beosound moment with the displays switched off as they do not do much that makes any sense.

From the moment to the first speaker I have a cable from sounds heavenly that is 100% the right one.

As I am moving the other cable was cut away as it was built into the fireplace hearth.

As I m not using the displays will any old cable do?

Hello Sean,

The Pentas won't usually switch on unless a mk.2 (fully wired) cable is used: http://soundsheavenly.com/powerlink-8-pin-din-connection/23-powerlink-mk-2-compatible-black-8-pin-din-cable-with-fully-wired-8-cores.html

They need both pin 1 and pin 4 connected to power up the speaker, pin 1 is missing on other Powerlink variants.
